Three part documentary that premiered May 16th here in the US; ep. 2 aired last night. I’ve only watched ep. 1 so far, which IMHO was very well done. I was most impressed with the archival footage (The Carter Family, Jimmie Rogers, etc.) that appeared to be painstakingly resynced to quality audio. The TV clip of Will Shade and Charlie Burse of the Memphis Jug band was terrific too. Looking forward to catching the rest.
