The word “Socialist” was in the title of the Nazi Party because the socialist ideal was popular in Germany. It was a marketing ploy that worked. Nevertheless, nearly everyone who was rich before the Nazis came to power remained rich afterward. That would not have been true in a genuinely socialist economy and government.
The same goes for Moscow, London, Beijing, and Los Angeles. Followed by, “Why haven’t you called?” “Pull your pants up!” and “How do I work this remote control?”
Actually, the Nazi eugenics program was probably inspired by the “efficiency” and “commitment” or the American eugenic program, which lead the pack :eek:
