America's foreign policy hypocrisy

I think the problem is, that there isn’t all that much we can do about it.

There is all this misery, but the North Korean people have been so beaten into the dirt that they simply don’t know how to fix it. Every other communist country either threw the communists out or got them to agree to reforms. North Korea has learned to be completely isolated from the rest of the world.

Even China is limited in what it can do. It has more trade with South Korea than North Korea.

As bad as this regime is, the worst thing that could happen would be for it to collapse. Millions of refugees pouring into China or South Korea, it would be a humanitarian and economic disaster.

After a quick search I discovered that Sablicious is nearly incapable of starting threads that don’t express his fear of China or Muslims. He also loves generically insulting Americans, despite the fact that as soon as the Chinese or the Muslims scare him he wants to hide behind the big mean Americans, and complain that they aren’t doing enough to protect him. I’ve started a pit thread about it since this isn’t the place, so come on down.

Tomayto; tomahto.

What’s love got to do with it?

I weren’t a Yan~kee, it would follow that ‘my country’ does not lay claim to the world’s largest and most advanced military, the highest military budget by a magnitude of 2 to its nearest competitor nor does it posture as the world’s batton-twirling gendarme when, any only when, it suits its bent.

'Kay. But where does that leave the world?

So we have to live (die?) with a rouge dictator who’s worshipped as a living god (literally) by his emaciated minions, has numerically the 4th largest army on the planet and is likely to go full nuclear retard by and by…?

Far be it from me to posit counterarguments to all these soi-disant MacArthurs here, but is there not a better solution than the ‘final’ kind; that’s surely imminent when you have such ingredients as those simmering in the hermit cauldron as we have now?

Petulance > sanctions > posturing > concessions > obstinance… > more petulance > more sanctions > more posturing > more concessions > more obstinance… All the while Kimmy and co. further acquire / develop armaments, that may not ring in a new technological age, but indeed serve to ensconce the dear wiener deeper and deeper into his burrow.

Are we banking on a Kim to be born impotent or something? Because I just don’t see the twiddle thumbs gambit working in the free world’s favour any more, when it comes to this manipulative midget Magog.

Surely we’re not still pinning our hopes to the six-party Sino-circle jerk, are we?! :dubious:

Not even close to the same thing. Kim is the surname, as has already been pointed out to you. More than once. Continuing to refer to them as the Jongs just demonstrates how little you understand about the issue. Jong is a given name; it’s the same as if you kept calling the Kennedys the Johns after your mistake was pointed out to you.

Why not? The hookers did.
