In the thread about older celebrities it is mentioned that Leon Askin(Gen. Burkhalter) played King Lear in German.

I’ve wondered before how often the Bard has been translated into languages other than English. My thread title recalls a high school Spanish class, when we were being taught about the difficulties of translating from one language to another.

Anyone care to tell about seeing non-English Shakespeare?
