Given the typical campaign ad, this might be a very short thread. But there have to be a few, right?
To start - I wouldn’t actually vote for the guy, but I have to give props to the best ad I’ve seen this season: Gerald Daugherty for Travis County (TX) Commissioner.
It was 26 years ago, but I still remember the “Fast Paced Paul” ad for Paul Wellstone for Senate. It was one of the big things to help him pull off an upset against a candidate people thought was unbeatable.
And it’s only a 30-second ad, and he could only afford to run it less than a half-dozen times!
