I did EXACTLY this when I was a young-un, 45-some years ago, and I thought it was a strangely fascinating and well-sounding piece of work. Now, rather by happenstance, I stumbled upon exactly the same performance on YouTube that somebody else did (approx. 2 minutes 30 seconds). It sounds like Russian, I think
