I know that was a joke, but IIRC, they actually shot (or at least discussed) that scene along with a few others when trying to figure out what to do with Walt in the final few episodes. Another was to have him do some sort of cooking show or to become a chef, I think they had him making peanut brittle.

How about a show where God himself is MST3King up different aspects of humanity and making comments on it? He’ll visit different people’s lives and change things up as he sees fit. Some days he can be a dick and give someone a hardship to overcome, other days he can just mess with people he doesn’t like, and some days he can just make snarky comments without interfering in people’s lives. At the end of every episode, God learns a lesson that he repeats for the sake of the audience. Oh, and he’s aware of the audience, lots of 4th wall breaking in this show

Interesting. I would agree that, that’s the sort of thing the Pinkertons did. I’d be surprised if Hollywood actually produces something which shows them doing that sort of thing, let alone presenting it in a heroic light. But I’ll have to watch for the series coming out as it’s certainly an interesting subject.
Hm, no it looks like the show will focus on saving the president, with optional exploits in preventing bandits from robbing trains and transporting slaves to Canada.
Four girls and a single guy, in their earlier to mid twenties, living together as roommates somehow end up having to take care of a ten year old boy, possibly that guy’s nephew. I see him as a troubled boy who was sent to live with that guy after his mother was sent to prison for some reason, (his father dies years before). It would be like drama/comedy.

A show about a politician on the rise. Starts out as a city councillor or something, gradually works up through higher and higher elective offices. The hook is the person is completely clueless. His (or her) success is a matter of complete luck and the machinations of the people around him, who mostly detest him but help him get elected for various selfish reasons. Eventually the character runs for president.
