An Oscar for the shortest performance

The Crunch Bird is probably the shortest animated film to win an Oscar, clocking in at 2:19. Basically just one joke, but it’s a great one.

And the shortest animated film to be nominated for an Oscar was Fresh Guacamole at 1.40

Hannibal Lector, as played by Hopkins was fictional, and his character was confined behind bulletproof glass a couple inches thick. It was only a movie, and I STILL got the crap scared out of me by his performance. That’s real acting.
