Why not exactly? Mrs. Frig, the twelve-year-old Little Miss Frig and I see Family Guy together just about every night Have for years.
You all worry about watching with 8-year-olds and having to explain it…I sometimes don’t get the tv turned off in time for my 88-year-old mother when that show starts. No way I’m explaining any of it to her!

Modern Family pulled off a good buttsex joke last week: Cam and Mitchell (a long-term gay couple) were acting as best men at the wedding of a party-girl friend. Cam didn’t approve of the marriage, so he threatened to withhold the ring. Mitchell was trying to wrestle it away, and ended up wrapped across Cam’s back, piggy-back style. The party girl walked up and said “That’s one mystery solved.”
I remember a joke from Murphy Brown, way back in the day: a character saying of his wife “The only two things I don’t know about her are how she votes and why she calls the showerhead ‘Bob’ .”
Raunch is fine, but subtlety is funnier.
