Anyone remember that Calgon commercial where the lady asks the Chinese guy how he gets her clothes so clean and he says “Ancient Chinese Secret.” His wife comes out and says “We need more Calgon.” And the woman walks off “Ancient Chinese Secret Huh!”
That woman ruined that guys business.

Yes, soon after the tragic Calgon incident Mr. Wong, in a fit of deep ancestral shame, killed himself by throwing himself between the steamer pads of a shirt press. He was buried in a coffin eight feet high, six feet wide, and two inches deep.
Mrs. Wong, now shunned by her people for revealing the Ancient Chinese Secret to Westerners, wandered from town to town as a raving alcoholic, randomly screaming “Ring around the collar!!” at passers by. Nothing is known of her whereabouts, but rumor has it she was killed by assassins from the Brotherhood of the Puckered Hand.
Well, the formula of Calgon is from an ancient Chinese secret. Three parts pee mixed with left nostril snot and soda lime.
They thought up the name Calgon because they figured the name “Pee, snot and lime” would turn customers away.
