Presently there’s a less than 300 post difference. I think we’ll see the eclipse sometime tomorrow (Sat., Nov. 20).
I post in MPSIMS because these people have a sense of humor…I can say what I feel without having to have a PhD to back it up. I can be my crazy artist self, and except for a few ppl who correct my grammar and punctuation, not feel like I have to be intellectual.
Sides… it’s more fun =P

Oh yeah, It’s the Guy Stuff thread. Over 500 posts and growing.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words’ll make me sit in a darkened corner and cry for hours.

I think I may have to revise that prediction, as the gap has only narrowed by ~60 since last night. We’ll probably see it next week when all the at work posters return.
I’m suspicious that some of the recent General Question might have been posted just to prolong this (I’ll admit that the thought occurred to me, since my bet was 11/24, but I plead innocent.)
But some of the questions posted on GQ in the last couple days do seem just a little mandane & pointless to me…

42 posts now separate the two fora.
25 to go; we’ll see it before Happy Hour!
No. we’ll see it…
And it has happened -
MPSIMS is now the forum with the most posts.
It is a credit to the the 2 fine moderators (Melin & Eutychus) that this forum is so popular & frequently visited.
Over the last few weeks, MPS has had roughly 15307 posts, to 7760 for GQ - which is a big difference. It’s just shy of a 2:1 ratio.
OK, who wants to take bets on when it’ll hit 100,000 posts?

It’s official. Pointlessness has triumphed over cluelessness.
Mike,
We want to welcome you on your visit to Houston.
