I have a vague recollection of a comment made about some dangerous drug(s). Maybe about cocaine. The point of the comment was to discourage people from even trying the substance. It went something like this:
“If it turns out you don’t like it, then you aren’t missing anything. And if it turns out that you do like it, then you’re really in trouble.”
Have you heard anything similar? Was there a famous version of this notion, uttered by a famous person?
