. . . and it's only May.

Civil strife all across the Middle East. Earthquake, tsunami and nuclear accidents in Japan. Floods and tornadoes up and down the Mississippi Valley. And it’s only May. What has the rest of the year in store for us, I wonder?

And the hurricane season hasn’t even started yet!

Still won’t be as bad as 2010, unless some jackass brings vuvuzelas back.

Don’t forget about the rapture that Harold Camping still says happened in May.

No, he had miscalculated. The real end of the World is in October.

July 5, actually. But that’s still quite a long way off! :frowning:

Extraordinary dought and record wildfires across much of the south.

Iceland has gone volcanic on Europe again.

Bring on the hurricanes, I could use the rain.

I think they have already switched it off (someone on radio said so anyway).

But that’s my birthday. I hope the world ends after I get my presents.

I often wonder the total number of people that have lost their homes to floods or tornadoes this year. It’s got to be tens of thousands.

Just saw on CNN that there’s a raging uncontained forest fire in Arizona, it’s affecting air quality, and the whole Southwest is at increased fire risk this season.

Whew! We were almost in danger of getting bored!

And July does not disappoint. :frowning:
