God, cats are stupid, pitiable wretches when they’re sick (or most of the time). I like mine, but if he did that, he’d be getting a bath in a pillowcase, if need be.
Hmm? A vet tech wouldn’t have seen biters before??
I don’t think that it was so much that he had never seen biters before but that every time he went to pick him up he hissed and tried to bite him. He seemed like he wasn’t expecting it for whatever reason and finally had me pick him up and put him on the scale and then set him on the table for an exam.
Well, according to Rules 34 and 36, now that you’ve mentioned it, there definitely is.
No, I’m not Googling that.
Update on Oliver:
They got back the first of the test results and determined that Oliver does not have a parasite of any kind. They are still checking for bacteria but at this point they believe the problem to be colitis, which should be taken care of by the meds I am giving him. He seems to think I am torturing him unfortunately but because I give him the meds and then feed him immediately afterwards he doesn’t seem too verklempt about the whole thing.
I don’t mean to laugh at your pain and stress, but damn, this is one hysterical mental picture.
Sorry about the kitty - hopefully soon he’ll feel better and you’ll be able to laugh at your Day From Hell.
Awwwww your Oliver really DOES look like my Wally.
