You asserted that classical music is popular, and thus does not require government funding. Your “evidence” for that assertion was that 300,000 people showed up to a free concert, and that apparently a whole bunch of people bought Pavarotti cds (which incidentally you can usually find in the bargain bin for $3.99).
Having made that assertion, based on that evidence, it’s YOUR JOB to demonstrate how that evidence “proves” your assertion. You have not only failed miserably in doing that, you seem to think that it’s not necessary. It is. If you remember algebra class, then you know that no one is interested in your intuitive leaps. Show your work.
