Is Google not working? Seems like the OP is trying to get other people to do his propaganda work for him.
Moreover, cherry picking anecdotes to create a fake narrative–as Trump does pathologically–does nothing to address policy differences between candidates. Trump uses anecdotes to fabricate a false scenario of uncontrolled masses of people streaming over the boarder–and his feeble-minded cult followers happily eat it up–when in fact illegal crossings are at a low.
It’s perfectly understandable: if people don’t know the truth about Obama, the millions of imaginary illegal aliens that helped Hillary win the popular vote in 2016 might vote for her again in the OP’s fantasy election of 2020.
Gee. Thanks. You won’t know when, or where, or how even. But I will find a way to repay this kindness
I’m finding the OP fascinating for what it says about his beliefs about how conservatives think.
Obama enforced strict rules on illegal immigrants and had a high deportation rate. Conservatives apparently don’t believe this and think he was lax on the subject. So the way that a conservative wants to appeal to his brethren is to find emotional stories about ICE obeying the laws during Obama’s administration. Therefore, if presented with evidence that Obama really was doing the job they don’t believe he was doing, conservatives will hate him even more and use that hate to tar any future Democrat who might also plan to enforce the law.
You know, if I said that about conservatives I’d be attacked by every rightward poster on the Dope. It’s truly damning.
But are crossings actually at a low or just apprehensions at the border? Because if it’s the latter, it’s probably attributable to ICE agents being elsewhere in the country searching out for deportation people who are here and have been so for a while.
Given Trumps racial incitement and draconian practices I would be surprised if the number of crossings were down. Like sundown towns, these tactics are despicable but they do achieve their goals of keeping out “undesirables”.
No, not exactly of course but up to 97% identical-in-policy Clinton would have been to Obama is a strong possibility. And even if HC had won and served two terms perhaps a very different democrat would possibly have replaced her. But then again maybe not.
I am not saying how conservatives think.
Look! I am nobody’s enemy here. You do not want to comment kindly why not just not comment at all. And I do not want personal business of any one here either.
What makes you think 97% of Clinton’s policies would be the same as Obama’s? They represented distinctly different areas of the Democratic Party, just as GWB and Trump represent very different wings of the GOP.
Because when she was on the democrat ticket she was believed to be following many of his very policies further once she was to get in office. Maybe she would apologize a little less to other countries but she almost definitely would have continued that terrible practice in general. I just want information like I originally asked for.
I’m trying, but it’s…just…so…difficult. Maybe next time?
I am now very curious about what you perceive to be the range of policies followed by presidents, if “apologizing less to other countries” is a 3% change.
Moriarty, can you list that page you said you found?
I don’t know which is sillier-What you want us to do, why you think we would be interested in doing it, or why you want us to do it.
It was page 217.
edited to add: Unless you get the paperback-then it is page 312.
That and a few other things would make a probable 3% difference in her policies vs Obama’s. I am not replying anymore to anything on this thread but info on what I asked for.
And I am not even necessarily pro-anyone else either. I just wanted Obama out for his lousy policies and I want nobody who’d probably act ALMOST identical to him in.
Now I am not responding to anymore stuff unless its the info I want! I vow that.
Can’t you at least list some of your favorite songs?
And what would we get in return?
