animal nipple count

Does anybody know where I can find, oh I dunno, a decent-sized list of mammals and their corresponding number of nipples? I feel myself overwhelmed with curiosity on the subject. Don’t ask why; I’m not sure.

There’s a small chart on Wikipedia, but other than that, I’ve not found too much on the subject.

But what an ODD question, Buffy

I know people have phases but I think there’s laws in TN against that sort of thing

Even Tennessee has some standards !

You might also look up marsupials. There the nipples are supposedly “undifferentiated” from the neighboring skin, yet there still are specific gland “zones” that can be counted.

Mammary glands! Brilliant, RoOsh! And here I’ve been looking under nipples. Tsk tsk, buff.
Hmm, hadn’t even thought about marsupial nipples. Or virtual lack thereof, Consonants. goes off to find a possum

I’m also kind of curious what animal has the longest nipples as well.

For the record, I’ve never known anyone here in the beautiful state of Tennessee to have sexual relations with any sort of animal.

[Digression]Elephants, like sea cows, have only two and up front between the front limbs as do humans.[/Digression]

I live in East Tennessee and I agree with this statement. No animal sexin’ 'round here. However, a co-worked recently told me that a sheep supposedly has the most human feeling vagina of any animal. He’s from Michigan though.

What a fascinating realm is this…this nipplage if you will.

Do any primates have more than two?

Actually, a fair number of people have more than two . . .

I knew a girl with 4. Definitely did a double take on those. Good thing she had a sense of humor!
