If you watched any of the Olympic coverage you couldn’t help but see an ad for “Animal Practice” since they ran one at nearly every break.
Same here. Man- the female lead is a clone of Kidman, isn’t she?
Animal Practice- Monkeys= bad.
Mob Doctor-worst concept for a new show I read this year… and Last resort is #2.
Revolution: best concept with worst follow up. Some of the silliest damn TV and most unlikeable protagonist this year. “*Princess Bossy Brat *“ Seanette, that was genius.
Beauty & the Beast= beastly.
Elementary= Sophomoric.
New Normal- besides the two male leads, some really horrible people. Hate this show.
Go On; Not bad. Not “must see TV” but watchable.
Vegas; not bad but no Longmire.
The one with her pregnant was terrible - no one would have made that show good. I didn’t like any of the people on that show.
Well, the worst was when they cut from the closing ceremony (The Who was about to play) to show us lucky viewers a special “preview” of Animal Practice. Oh, the Internets burned with anger that night, my friends…
Boy is it ever. There’s a fair amount of potential there, but the writing is atrocious. It seems to fall between stilted odd dialogue and ridiculous contrived situations.
If it doesn’t get cancelled real soon, I wonder if it’ll follow “Up All Night” into not even really being about the parents’ adjustments to having a kid at all.
Up All Night has evolved from that premise, but for the better I think. I’ve only seen the first episode this season but last season was pretty strong.
ABC’s Private Practice cancelled after six seasons, probably because the star isn’t coming back for a seventh season.
Thats because they couldn’t find anyone from Jersey with the bad Joisey accent they wanted.
She has fewer hits than her husband did in the playoffs.
I don’t know about staying power, but Chicago Fire (opposite Nashville) reminds me a little of a one-season show I liked called * Trauma* (and has one of the same actors). I hope it at least gets to play half a season. We’ll see if it has legs to go on from there.
I haven’t been watching much TV, though. I’ll watch Happy Endings (tomorrow!) and Cougar Town when they get back.
I liked that show. It was called Better With You, it had my longtime TV crush Jennifer Finnigan, and it had what I thought were funny uses of parallelism. It wasn’t naturalistic enough for modern standards, I guess. Or people don’t find pregnancy funny?
Man, could we have a show with Joanna Garcia and Paula Marshall? Is Ted McGinley still around? He could play their dad or something. Call it “So Totally Doomed.”
I’d watch it. Maybe I have no taste.
Yeah, I only watched it for Crystal the Monkey, AKA Annie Boobs, but she has a long career ahead of her. Well, long in Monkey Years.
