I checked the entire archive, and I may have missed it, but I want to know (being involved in the subject)… does anyone know of any non-sentient animals that have any sort of aesthetic sense? That is, do animals like art?

There was an elephant named Ruby who did paintings, they sold for around $4,000.00 each.
Also NOVA has programming that shows gorillas painting, heck they look as good as any Van Gogh to me.
As animals can see colour, no reason to presume they wouldn’t enjoy it.
My two animals prefer their toys and bedding to be yellow.
