A town in Dorset, England is twinned with Ankh Morpork and they have even renamed some of the street names after A.M.ones apparently after a popular vote.
Personally I think that this is a great idea and it would be nice if they extended it to other authors.
My first candidate would be Patrick O’Brian, maybe Aubery St., Maturin road, Surprise avenue and so on.
