Annotating is not my friend

Is there anyone that can help with an annotated bibliography? All of the University’s help desks are closed for the season, and I have never had to do one of these before. It is in MLA format (I hope) and I think I am following all the guides that I am seeing on things like Purdue’s Owl Help desk.

The particular question that doesn’t seem to be addressed anywhere is in some of the annotations I site journal reviews on some of the books. I assume I don’t then annotate the journals or this project seems like it would never get done, but I kind of need to document where those cites come from. Do I put those cites in among the annotations and explain it somewhere? Do I put them in a list below the annotations or what? I would be tempted to put them in the annotations themselves but I am limited to 100 words per book so my perimeters are pretty tight.

I hope that I explained what my problem was sufficiently, and if I am breaking the rules about getting help with homework, I apologize and promise to try to never do it again.

Why are you citing reviews in your annotations? Or am I misunderstanding something? Are you reading reviews to have an idea what a book is about to avoid skimming the book, or?

because the professor wants some proof that the books I am citing are scholarly work, so I assumed that if there were reviews in peer reviewed journal that that would meet her criteria. It could be an assumption which is flat out wrong, which could be par-for-the-course with my translating what she wants.

I did skim or read all the books.
