Announcement: Flight number xxxx "WITH SERVICE" to city yyyy...Shut up, dammit

One neat thing is that because you move with the breeze, you don’t feel any wind. Nor was there any perceptible motion that might make a person get airsickness. It was very calm overall. I would definitely do it again.

However…my sister did it back in 2007 and said that the wind picked up so much after they took off that they landed a few miles away from where they’d planned, did a hard landing, and were then dragged along the ground for 100 feet.

Delivered by Swallow?

That’s intentional, big baskets are heavy, & small balloons are ao much better than flying cattle cars.

I’m jealous as i want to fly there some day

Just to make it clear; airlines definitely get a cut of whatever you spend when you use their branded credit card. You earn miles or points for each dollar spent using that card, and the bank issuing the card has to buy those miles or points from the airline. That means, in the case of the Delta SkyMiles card issued by American Express, that Amex pays Delta billions each year and other airlines also get money (perhaps not as much) from the banks that issue their credit cards. Many of the airlines make little profit from or even lose money on just flying people around. They rely on other revenue streams like the affiliated credit cards, the vacation packages they promote and other such programs, to make up the difference.

I immediately thought of THIS–
