My Dad, WallyM7, had a very serious fall at work yesterday. He is out of surgery and in intensive care. His condition is listed as critical. He has lapsed in and out of conciousness several times, but we still have high hopes for his recovery. Mom has rented a hotel room near the hospital so we can be nearby. I cannot access his e-mail because I don’t have the password. My e-mail is amym5@visto.com. Everyone has now been notified, and many people have come to offer their support and prayers. I wish there was more to tell, but at this point we know very little. We hope to know more later today.
I am writing this in the hope that you will join us in praying for his recovery. If you can set a moment aside and offer a little prayer on Dad’s behalf, we would be most grateful. Thank you in advance for your kind thoughts.
My thoughts are with your father, you and your family. Make sure you remember to take care of yourself (and remind your mother to do the same), it’s the best thing you can do for him right now.
Amy, like everyone else, I’m sorry to hear about Wally. We all enjoy hearing from him on this board, and we will miss him unitl he returns. You have my best wishes and prayers as well. Let him know we’re all pulling for him.
Wally, here’s to a quick recovery and BOY, some people will do anything to be surround by pretty nurses all day long!
We love Wally (While I am not speaking for the 7000 plus dopers on board, I am speaking for the little voices inside my head. And they like the word " Putz".)
Amy, I am so sorry to hear that.Best of luck to you and your Dad.He’s a great guy, and I aways enjoy his contributions here.
Your all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Amy, know that there are a lot of people pulling for your dad. I had my father laughing at the tale of Wally’s Harley on Sunday, I’m not religious, but I’ll send my fair share of good thoughts your way.
I will include you, Wally and your mom in my prayers tonight. I was wondering why I hadn’t seen any posts from him. I’m so sorry. Keep us updated when you can.
Amy, geez what some people will do to get out of buying me dinner. I hope all goes well for Wally, and that he is up and about soon. Tell him to take care and that Sue will be praying for him, and I will keep positive thoughts.
