I would have to agree with MrKnowItAll as to the need for a film noir attempt at Batman. I guess that if I had to pick any of the Batman actors that have been cast thus far, I’d go with Keaton, but I too think that it should be an unknown. I don’t know about anyone else, but I need some closure on Batman before they move to the Beyond for a movie. There is so much territory that hasn’t been covered yet. What I think we need is a Batman movie, film noir, with an in depth look at both the psyche of Batman AND a lengthy visit to Arkham Asylum and its inhabitants. It seems to me like there is too little focus on the madness behind the mayhem. Sure. It’s a comic…I guess there can be funny parts, but it doesn’t have to be a comedy.
