The first and last advertizing I saw here on the Straight Dope was for Altoids.
Could some of us band together and purchase an ad sponsoring the SD for a day? A week? An add might be a great way to recognize a birthday, anniversary, post count celebration or whatever. An ad could even be used as a way of remembering and honoring an individual.
I’m dense so I couldn’t figure out the cost of an ad for the straight dope for a day from the rate chart at the botom of the page. Can anyone help me out?
