Another interplanetary travel Q: Jupiter to inner planets

Don’t want to hijack the other thread.

Let’s say we lived on Jupiter (well, a Jovian moon, where there’s an actual hard surface), and we wanted to send a probe to explore the inner planets. What would be the best way (with minimum fuel, of course)? It seems as though there would have to be some kind of tricky navigation—but maybe not. I’m just thinking of the hoops that we’re having to go thru to get to Mercury, and the Venus and Mercury swing-bys to reduce alter the orbit to slow down Mercury MESSENGER. Jupiter’s a lot farther away, and there aren’t any closeby planets to aid in deep-space maneuvering.

You’d probably have to launch more or less at Jupiter itself and try to slingshot a path that takes you toward the sun, and try for several months of comet-like acceleration that’ll help you rendezvous with the innter plent of your choice.

Jupiter does have an advantage in that it has a ton of moons, so there are all sorts of interesting orbits that slingshot around them. Basically, if you can get to any other moon, you can get to pretty much anywhere else you want, for almost no additional cost. The calculations would be a pain, though, and I wouldn’t want to attempt them without computers.
