Another 'Make My Tape' song request thread-- for work.

I’m going to burn a CD for the co-workers in my department (for reasons that would sound silly, so I won’t say what they are). The title of the CD is [Name of my accounting firm]'s Employee Song List: If the song isn’t about you, it’s about the person sitting next to you.

Number one song on the list is what I tell the guy who sits immediately to my left should be our work theme: Steeler’s Wheel’s Stuck In The Middle. Other songs are

  1. I Love My Boss-- Moxie Furvious
  2. We Gotta Get Outta This Place-- The Animals
    3.Asshole-- Dennis Leary
  3. Bang On The Drum-- Todd Rundgren
  4. Taking Care of Business–BTO

I’m looking for work songs-- accountant specific, if you know any. Yeah, I know. Nobody writes songs about accountants. Also songs about sex at work. Anything to add?

In the same vein as ministryman’s suggestions:

The Alps “Curriculum Vitae” (song controls are on upper right)

The Golden Republic “Robots” click here and the song will play

“Five O’Clock World” by the Vogues (not a great recording, sorry)

“Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now” by the Smiths

Bright Future in Sales – Fountains of Wayne

Take This Job and Shove It is a bit too harsh. I’m checking out the others.

P.S. I Love My Boss sounds like an old samba or rhumba song that I should know the name of but can’t quite put my finger on. It isn’t Tangerine-- anybody know what it is?
