Left pit, right pit. Then the, uh, bikini-slash-crotchal area. Then the legs. I figure that the razor is sharpest at the start, and I should do the most sensitive areas first.
I use a bear-trimmer set on #3, once every 2-3 weeks. I start in the middle and work my way rightwards then back left.
I’m right handed, female, and shave my pits and everything from the hips down (well, except, like, the bottoms of my feet, obviously). The sophisticated unwanted-hair removal procedure goes as follows: right pit, left pit. Left leg, right leg, then the blessed-holy crotch zone, starting at the top and working down, right side then left side.
There is no order to the unwanted-hair removal procedure in question that I am aware of.
Right-handed; right cheek starting right under the ear and going up (against the grain). Then under the jaw, going right to left, with the grain (except in the middle, which is against the grain). Then back up the left cheek (against the grain). Then the chin (against), then under the nose (with). All this straight out of the shower without drying my face, with Edge gel.
I tried electric (both norelco and remington), but the hair on my neck grows very flat against my skin and doesn’t stick out at all.

Right-handed, start under right ear, moving down (with grain) until cheek done. Then, right side of throat/jaw, moving up (against grain). Chin and upper lip, up. Then start again on left side. Then repeat various parts of process, dealing with spots I’ve missed. Curse, wince, mop up blood. I’d grow a beard, except I can’t - if I try, I just look as if I’ve got some revolting skin disease.
