Okay, y’all. This is the final call for a recent Bamadope.
In mid-February, Spit is coming to visit the lovely (?) state of Alabama. I suggested we build a Bamadope around this, and since it’s near Valentine’s Day and all rational people hate that holiday, we can spend our time commiserating about how much it sucks.
And doing, you know, some fun stuff.
Suggested date is February 14-16. What do you think? Where would you like to have it? What would you like to do?

Well, if B and I aren’t there in person I’ll be there in spirit, at least. She actually likes doing stuff (or rather, having stuff done for her) on V-day.
I have no problem with an anti-valentines day thing…I have the third of three classes today, so I’ll know then what sort of stuff is due the next week.
So, I’m a possibility, but no definite yes or no yet.
I’m a very vague possibility. I’d really love to be there, but I’m not sure if school and finances will allow it.
What Serendipity said. Besides, the 18th is my birthday. Are we talking about Birmingham still? One day I’d like to have one in Point Clear or Gulf Shores.
NinetyWt, we can discuss holding it anywhere in Alabama. It’s just that I’m going to be housing myself and Spit at my apartment in Tuscaloosa, which makes Birmingham a more likely possibility than most places.
's ok with me, Birmingham is actually closer to me than the coast is.

Well, heck, I checked the thread because I thought something might be going on. sigh Probably best, because I messed up my knee and I’m waiting on an appointment with the ortho specialist - as sure as I made plans to come I’d find myself in a brace or something and unable to drive. Frustrating, dammit! :mad:
