Any affordable DVD or Blu Ray players with a USB port that accept many formats of digital video

I am looking for a DVD or Blu Ray (obviously Blu Ray is preferred, but not mandated). The big thing though is that it has to have a USB port that accepts a wide range of video formats.

I’m under the impression a lot only accept MP4. I would want something that accepts MP4, AVI, FLV, WMV, etc. However being able to play MP4, AVI and FLV loaded from a USB stick (not a burned DVD-R) would probably satiate most of my needs.

If possible, under $70 would be nice too. Does anyone have any ideas? the problem with google is that because the models change so much whatever info I get from finding a thread started in 2009 is out of date. Plus a lot of corporate websites do not seem to actually list the digital formats you can play from a USB stick.

Five years ago or so I had a Philips blu-ray player that would happily play everything fed it on a USB stick. The bad part is that at some point it stopped playing most blu-ray discs… My current Panasonic does the latter just fine but is much more picky about the formats it will play from USB. So I’d say look at a Philips, assuming they still make them.

Most accept MP4, but that seems to be all they accept.

The LG BP350 will play FLV files which is nice, but I can’t find out if it plays AVI.
