I still think that the situation at Howard had a lot to do with things. It seems like her feeling discriminated against on the basis of color was the catalyst in her deciding she wanted to present herself as black.

Shouldn’t it be called an “Unreality Show”? Or is it Surreality?
Well, you have to admit she’s going to have a hard time making a living for the foreseeable future. 
Still, she’s lost me now that she’s trying to claim there’s no proof her parents in Montana are her genetic parents, that her [allegedly] devoutly Christian husband forced her to participate in a sex tape, and that photos on the internet show her dressed and posing in ways intended to draw attention to her looks rather than her experience as a black woman.
I think she’s clearly mentally ill and deserves some sympathy and allowances for that, but I no longer look at her in the same way I did and I likely won’t be defending her any more.

Typically, a black woman does not receive more respect than a white woman. The NAACP, Howard University, and other left-wing enclaves that she’s been part of are not typical places. There are places where being black means social privileges.
She may be mentally ill. She may not be. I’m not following the story too closely, but I did read Willam Saletan’s story in Slate, which showed overwhelming evidence that she’s reported fake hate crimes countless times. Sounds to me like she’s Kerri Dunn on steroids.
I might be willing to consider the possibility that her parents are not really her parents, but she looks just like both of them in that wedding picture.
