I just finished my second semester at Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS. I’m hoping to enter Americorps later this year, and plan to return to finish college after my stint is done. I majored in history (my favorite subjects are early Imperial Rome, Borgia-era Italy, Plantagenet England, and the Ottoman Empire circa Mehmed II Fatih). We didn’t have any Greek organizations at Hinds aside from Phi Theta Kappa, if that counts, so I was Independent. I’m 18 years old now, I started school when I was 17.
