I know we have several lawyers around, as well as some emergency medical personnel, but I can’t remember anyone stating that they were an MD.
Do we have any MDs on the boards, and if so, what are your specialties?

Qadgop the Mercotan. I don’t know his specialty. But he works in a prison.
Didn’t Doctor J just graduate from med school or finish his residency or something?
Yes and Yes. Qadgop is a good ol-fashioned GP/Family practice guy, IIRC. I mean, before he went to prison. So to speak.
Doctor J just finished med school and will be starting his residency this summer, if he hasn’t already.
Years ago I read a joke that ended like this:
=====
. . . “Is there a doctor in the house?”
He stood up and declared, “I have an honorary degree from Anderson College!”
It was at that moment that she decided not to get him anything for Christmas.
That’s me! Board certified Family Practitioner. For Over 15 years I did a mix of family practice, Obstetrics, urgent care, cardiac stress testing, and clinical administration before I got out of that sector to feed at the public trough, just a few short months ago.
I currently am the lead physician of the primary care team of the state’s intake center, where all prisoners start their journey. I spend most of my time caring for the sick inmates, doing paperwork, and putting together training for the staff.
And I am enjoying my work here. Quite frankly it seems a place where I can actually make a difference in some things, and I’m more enthusiastic about my work than I’ve been in years.
It’s also a daily dose of gratitude, in that they’ll let me out of the prison whenever I want to go.
We’ve also got neurodoc, karlgauss, and Dr. J, who’s been a doc for about a month, and won’t actually start as an intern until July 1. I know we’ve got others too, but it’s not like we’re a clique here or anything.
I’m not a doctor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Expr…
Never mind - dumb joke.
One pathologist checking in! And I have subspecialty certification in cytopathology.
