So. The Marketplace seems very much geared towards selling not buying. Mods, if this is not appropriate please do direct me accordingly ?
I’ve got an idea for a silver bracelet that will be the band for an Art Deco era watch. I have several silver bracelets that could be melted down.
If there’s a Doper out there who does silversmithing and would like to talk, I’d like to know it !
Many thanks,

@Sticks_and_Scones does some jewelry work with silver. She might be able to comment on the possibilities.
Well, I’d be happy to talk, but I generally tend to bend metals instead of melting them.
I have to appreciate that. Best to find someone who wakes up every morning whispering, “ God….I gotta melt some silver today…..”
Good thinking…. Here’s a slight brag of some of the things that I make just for fun!

For certain objects you can use silver clay and not have to melt anything. For casting some weird shapes 3D printing is also available. I have seen this stuff done, but I cannot really advise technically.
“Stick A Fork In It, They’re Done”
or
”Tankards For The Memories” are both acceptable names for your gallery.
God your artistry and skills are wonderful. Thank you for these.
Those are great! Was the tankard made to hold something in particular? The little hands look made for something.
Thank you!
No, it wasn’t anything specific. I believe that I just put pencils in them or something like that.
I sketched what came to mind.
