Any Dopers have access to the United Kingdom statutes (1949?)

I’m looking for the regnal year cite to the Marriage Act, 1949 (U.K.).

I know it will be a Geo. VI cite. George VI became king in 1936, but I don’t know if it’s 12 & 13 Geo. VI, 13 Geo. VI, or 13 & 14 Geo VI, depending on when the session started. Our local library’s going through some renovations and the U.K statutes are tucked away for the duration. Any Dopers able to fill it in for me?

This Wikipedia article lists some of the Acts of the UK Parliament between 1940 and 1959. If you scroll down to the year 1949 you’ll see the Marriage Act under the heading of regnal years 12, 13 and 14 George VI.

I’m just bumping this thread since the post I made just before yesterday morning’s “meltdown” is not showing up in GQ.

great, thanks! I assume from it being stretched over 12, 13 & 14 that that particular sesssion of Parliament lasted more than one year.
