I just heard of a new eye implant designed to eliminate the need for reading glasses. Apparently it’s like a tiny donut that gets implanted into the cornea of one of your eyes. The tiny hole in the middle works like the aperture of a camera set to a very high f-stop, providing great depth of focus and depth of field.
Has anyone had experience with this? Or heard any interesting scuttlebutt? It sounds like a fascinating concept to me.
(I’m assuming this is more of an IMHO than GQ discussion, as I’ve already read the info available and am looking for experiences.)
