The site and its message board seem to have gone 404. A Google search from December says that they might close without funding, so I guess it’s history? If so, too bad, as they had lots of interesting information.

Is it like Find-a-Grave?
Naw. Findagrave is mainly about *“final dispostions” and, for those with an interest in genealogy, linking together family members, and not limited to notable people. Findadeath is not about final dispositions, but stories about (usually notable) peoples’ lives and circumstances about their demises. And the message board forums were a gold mine of info. There was a section on celebrities, music makers, “behind the scenes bigwigs,” crime stories.
*Buried, cremated, lost at sea, etc.
