Any info on "DreamVacationWeek.com" or "Worldwide Vacation & Travel"?

After doing a Refi through LendingTree.com, they sent me a certificate for a 1 week condo / timeshare stay. ($249 for a studio, $329 for a 1 bedroom – lodging only.) They claim you don’t have to attend any sort of timeshare presentation.

The vacation certificate says to sign up on “DreamVacationWeek.com”, and reading that site says it is operated by “Worldwide Vacation & Travel”.

I’m suspicious, but not enough to rule it out yet. Has anyone had any experience with these people? Do you have any good or bad opinions to share? What would you want to know before you bought a week’s worth of lodging from these people?

Thanks,
J.

Sounds legit to me. [shrug] Or at least as legit as any advertising gimmick is gonna be. Did you try plugging your certificate # into the form? Since you received the certificate through a legitimate source, i.e. not through unsolicited spam, I doubt whether it’s a scam of some kind, or simply an attempt to harvest an e-mail address.

ETA: They just look like a rental agency to me. What kind of thing would you want to know about a rental agency before you rented one of their properties? You’d look at the pictures, and if the condo you got didn’t match the pictures, then you’d have a consumer issue with them.
