Because I’m going to be passing through tomorrow night, I’m wondering if the 4th fireworks show is worth seeing or not. Opinions needed, thanks.
Yes, the fireworks show is awesome. They shoot the fireworks off two barges in the Mississippi River. Check out http://www.go4thontheriver.com/ for more info. It will be very, very humid, though.
It’s been a few years, but they were pretty cool when I went. You can watch them on the banks of the river. Start the evening at a bar on Decatur them stumble over to the Mississippi. I believe the Essence Festival is this week, so that will bring some crowds.
Yeah, I’m aware of the Essence thing, I’m staying over in Metairie, not many rooms in town. Thanks for the info. I’m almost sure I’ll mosey over and see the show.
