Velvet worms Don’t know that I’d try to make a special trip to see one, but I don’t think I’ve ever come across one in all the years since I first read about them. But then, they might be easy to miss.
Apparently they’re sold as exotic pets, so seeing one in captivity might not be too difficult.
I don’t know how common it is to see them on sale, but a quick Google of ‘velvet worm pet’ brings up a lot of relevant hits.
They seem to be pretty popular with exotic bug enthusiasts, you might even see one in local pet shops.
I see them sold in R’lyeh every now and then.

The wiki section on social interaction is extraordinary. I’d never have imagined such complex behavior from an animal of this kind.
