I don’t remember when it was, but I came across the series bible for Battlestar Galactica. I found it interesting reading and was convinced to give the series another try (I didn’t enjoy the mini-series), for a few episodes anyway.
I was watching a fan trailer of LOST today, and it got me wondering, are there any other TV series with long arcing story lines that have story bibles available online? I remember reading that J.J. Abrahms helped write the pilot for LOST, wrote the series bible, and then basically left the show in all but name. I would love to read that series bible, just to compare what plans were vs. how it ended up. I think it would be amazingly instructive.
Wikipedia lists a few other series that have bibles available… but are there any more modern series available that aren’t listed? I’m not particularly interested in reading He-Man’s bible
