What the everlasting fuck? Ted Dibiase really was the million dollar man. A million obtained BY FRAUD!
AEW Dark Taz/Excalibur moment of the day
- Taz says Aaron Solo’s breath smells like a wintergreen garden.
 - Taz is vexed that a selfie can have more than one person.
 - Zack Clayton grabs Jake Logan by the back of his trunks and tosses him into the steel steps. Taz exclaims “Wedgie Jones!” Drink.
 - “Smart” Mark Sterling introduces Tony Nese as the man who can beat King Kong in an arm wrestling match and Josh Woods as the man who thinks the Hulk ride is “meh, kinda lame.” Ex comments that it’s some very specific Universal Studios humor.
 - Taz explains the peak of the bicep is the top of the bicep. Ex points out that “peak” is the top of many things. “But the bicep is different,” Taz responds.

“All Heart” Blake Christian vs. “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson - Taz has an existential moment
Taz: If you’re not “all heart,” then what would you be? I mean, if your heart is not all there, you’re not here. You can’t live with no heart.
Ex: There’s some people with medical conditions that may not have complete hearts.
Taz: That should be your motto: “Some Heart” Excalibur.
Could Bronson Reid be the illegitimate son of Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy?
Wrestling Irony of the Week: WWE announces they will, once again, split its top belt into two…days after the WWE released its Annual Report with Roman on the cover holding both belts, and the caption “Undisputed”
Sami and Kevin retained the tag titles; I’m stunned!
Clearly they needed to push the rift in the Bloodline. They’ll end up on a different show from Roman and Solo so we’ll never get to see them all at the same time again because WWE would never tell us stars will be exclusive to brands and PLEs (Premier Live Events) and then just have them show up in the other brand anyway to promote the shows so often that there really is no brand distinction. As if we cared.
They’re called PLEs now instead of PPVs because who actually pay extra to see that crap?
Austin Theory was drafted to SmackDown tonight, at least temporarily leaving RAW without a secondary champion.
Sami and Kevin go to Raw, and The Usos go to SmackDown in Round 2. Bloodline stays together, and I’m surprised they eliminated that drama in Hour #1 of RAW.
(All of Judgment Day goes to RAW in two separate picks, and the LWO, all five members, go to SmackDown).
I thought GUNTHER got sent over to Raw.
Ah, I read something wrong.
Omos gets a free agent contract but Seth Rollins doesn’t. God hates me, that’s what it is.
God, BARON CORBIN can appear on both shows, too.
This draft thing is trash from what I heard so far
If they return to branded Premium Live Events, then fine. That will even allow for more storytelling (not that WWE will do so). Otherwise, unless the networks are the ones pushing for exclusive talents, there is no point.
It doesn’t really matter who goes where. Eventually, they’ll have the hot acts appear on both shows and leave the dregs on the sidelines.
I am excited about JD McDonagh getting called up, even if it is another obligatory job for Dolph Ziggler. He’s evil incarnate.
corny commented on the ones that can be on both sides as glorified job guys that are so bad or dull and maybe so insignificant that no one wanted them except the better talent needs losers for the matches
Of course, he phrased it as "Could you imagine sucking so bad or being so boring no one wanted you on their team even as a “mercy” pick?
I try listening to Cornette because he has lots of good insights, but they get lost amidst him being a raging, bitter, misogynist thrice-used condom of a human being.
Bad news for @Knowed_Out - Dark is reportedly being cancelled with the launch of the Saturday show.
so Saturday is just going to be the new wcw Saturday night? 50 people doing busy work squash matches like those shows were?
Looks like my reign as Transcriber Jones is over. It’s been a fun couple of years, but increasing work demands made it harder for me to get in the Taz/Excalibur Moments of the Day. It started off as a single convo capture, then evolved to include more snippets and accompanying images.
It’s been fun keeping up with enhancement talents like The Wingmen, The Workhorsemen, Emi Sakura and her coterie, Luther and Serpentico, Bear Country/Iron Savages, Fuego Del Sol, Dark Order, the Renegade Sisters, the Trustbusters, QT Marshall’s Factory, the Varsity Blonds, and so many others who graduated to prime time. Hopefully Taz and Excalibur will reunite for Collision and I can do this on weekends.
Here’s the entire compilation in case anybody’s interested.
Appreciate your efforts. Will miss the much less filtered interaction between Tazz and Excalibur. Their silliness made Dark.
