Any rat breeders here? Want to consistently breed the ugliest rat possible.

Appearance of a typical sewer rat is okay and the cutest allowable threshold.

Hairless is okay I suppose, but something patchworky, and looking like it’s somewhat diseased is preferred

The main criteria is that it’d be consistent. Every offspring has to be ugly. I know ugliness is subjective but I think I’ve gotten my point across as to what I consider ugly.

How would I go about doing this? What kind of mom and dad would I need that is readily available to buy?

Why would you want to breed a rat that may be uncomfortable, just for shits and giggles? Only recently people have become aware of the suffering they inflict on dog breeds.

Pedigree dogs are suffering from genetic diseases following years of inbreeding, an investigation has found. A BBC documentary says they are suffering acute problems because looks are emphasised over health when breeding dogs for shows. The programme shows spaniels with brains too big for their skulls and boxers suffering from epilepsy.

And really, if you’re not a rat breeder, or don’t know more about rats than what you googled 5 minutes ago, I’m not really interested. No offense.
