(FTR, I know I’m participating in a resurrected zombie. But it’s a good question.)
I keep thinking of more people…so far I’m up to four:

[li]I went to high school with, and shared a number of theatrical and musical extra-curricular activities with, rare map thief Forbes Smiley.[/li]
[li]Another high school pal, with whom I participated in speech and debate, is currently doing time for sexually abusing his stepdaughter.[/li]
[li]My former auto insurance agent actually fell for a Nigerian scam and somehow got himself into a financial bind and stole USD 90,000 from some institution on Guam (I want to say the US Postal Service but I’m not sure my memory is correct on that point). He went on the lam and one day several years later when we were in central Java on a crowded street, my husband said to me, “You’re not going to believe this, but I just saw Lauren” [sic - that really was his name]. A couple weeks later, sure enough - he was arrested in Yogyakarta![/li]
[li]I ate a few times at the restaurant owned by wife-murderer Perry March with his second wife in Ajijic, Mexico. My dad used to have coffee most mornings with his dad Arthur March, who was an accomplice to the crime.[/li][/ul]
