Anybody know a Reputable US moving Company? Any anecdotes would be swell!!

As some of you know Mrs. Phlosphr and I are on a cross country jaunt at the end of January. We are looking for several things in a reputable moving company:
Insured and are 400N Tarriff (meaning they won’t exceed the quoted price)
Will turn around a cross country trip in 7 days.
Longevity- meaning they have been in the business for quite a while.

So far we have quotes from Atlas world moving and Nationwide, are there others that people have dealt with that they feel are reputable and/or had a good experience with?

United has moved me twice: from Tennessee to Illinois and from Illinois to Atlanta. Both moves went off without a hitch.

Both times the move was paid for by my prospective employer, so one assumes the mover has extra incentive to do right, as they don’t want to lose a lucrative account. But I was very happy with both moves.

This move is being paid for as well. And I’d assume the same. United Van Lines just came in with a pretty good quote for our house and goods.

I would check to see if they subcontract.

The only problem my parents had with United is that they packed the kitchen first.
