I am not trying to start any discussion here. I was just wondering if Bush signed it yet?

Yes, it was signed. Several groups have since sued to have it blocked and it is currently held up in legal limbo.

Sorry to go off topic, but I read the thread title as “partial birth abortion PILL” and got REALLY creeped out. Thank god I misread it.

  1. Bush signed it into law - November 5, 2003.

  2. Within an hour of the signing, a federal judge in Nebraska issued an order against it; the order only applied to four doctors.

  3. A second federal judge (New York) issued a TRO the next day.

  4. A third federal judge (California) issued another TRO later that same day.
