I’m going to the doctor this week to see if I need a sleep evaluation. I’ve always been someone who moves around a lot while I’m sleeping, but now it’s becoming more concerning. It started with pushing my wife with my feet or kicking, but not hard. The other night, however, I whacked her pretty hard on the backside at around 3 in the morning. We were at a hotel when it happened, so I just moved to the other bed. For now I’m planning to sleep on a pallet next to the bed. Until I’m ready to sleep it’s fine for me to be next to Ms. P, then I’ll roll off (not literally) onto the floor. I’m not super stressed yet, but I’m concerned; I know that it can be a precursor to Parkinson’s and other neurological disorders.
