Anyone else a Wilco fan?

That is so awesome! </highschool girl>

Thanks, Hy-C. I’m downloading it now. I should be able to get in a CD and listen to it on my way to this dinner party I’m going to. In fact, it’s already done (high speed Internet kicks rump).

I would never give out the five didgit code you need to download the CD (http://wilcoworld.net/ep/ep_key.html#) if you don’t own YHF. Well, they GIVE you the first and last digits, so your really only need three more. If you asked me to give you the second of the five digits, I’d say, in German, “Nein!” (which means No!) If you’d ask me for the fourth and fifth digits, I’d say “your sick! (sic)” for wanting to get the download for free. Cough. No clues either. Sorry, guys.

> If you’d ask me for the fourth and fifth digits…

I mean third and fourth digits, not fourth and fifth. Those are the digits I wouldn’t give you.

I am relatively new to Wilco, Jay Farrar, Son Volt, and Uncle Tupelo.
I am slowly collecting their stuff though, because they are awesome!

Yeah. Jeff and Jay are definitely my favorite rockers these days, and have been for years. I remember picking up Anodyne because someone told me they sounded like a cross between REM and Nirvana. Ha. Not really. But I loved it an immediately bought the others (now they are re-issued with extra songs, and I’m stuck with the unreamastered exra-songless originals!)

Of course UT broke up as soon as I discovered them.

BTW, Hodge, did you pick up the soundtrack Jeff Tweedy did? It’s called Chelsea Walls.

Count me in as a Wilco fan… also a huge fan of Son Volt and Uncle Tupelo.
For some reason, this thread makes me want to mention Calexico too… if you like Wilco/Son Volt/Uncle Tupelo, you’ll like them.

Funny you mention it. I just discovered the existence of this 2 days ago while browsing through my Amazon recommendations. I hadn’t even heard of the movie, let alone that Jeff Tweedy wrote a soundtrack.

I might just have to tack this onto the Xmas list, alongside the I Am Trying To Break Your Heart DVD.
