Anyone else not getting email notifications?

I understand that the new SDMB server gets really busy sometimes and can’t send them.

I haven’t gotten notifications all evening, yet my threads have been active.

I had no notification of your reply.

I’m not seeing much in the way of email notifications either.

I’ve not had any for at least 24 hours, and yes, my subscribed threads are active.

I’m on gmail, if that helps any?

I’m on Gmail as well…and still no notifications.

I’m on Gmail, but that’s not the account I use for notifications from here (which aren’t showing up at all now).

I’m getting notifications okay from cough a very similar board elsewhere with a similar set-up, so it’s not just gmail filing them randomly in trash or something.

Jerry sez DesertNet is looking at the issue and will resolve the problem as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience you might be having. You will receive your notifications, probably when you least expect them … probably even the ones you don’t need anymore, the system will catch up.

now that the problem has been resolved, is there a way to turn off e-mail notifications? I don’t rely on them, and just see them as clutter in my in-box.

I got a bombardment of what looked like a large percentage of two days’ worth this afternoon. :smiley:
