That is a perfectly cromulent way to play blackjack. Sometimes peoole like to gamble for fun. And by ‘people’ I mean almost every gambler except for a few math nerds.
I agree with (A) absolutely. When was the last time you saw a house game, much less one in a card room, play 5-card draw or 7-card stud? There’s nothing particularly new about this, either; I remember an episode of House, which hasn’t been on the air since 2012, that dealt with a couple of the doctors being in a charity poker tournament - a No Limit Hold’em tournament, of course.
I have to thank you guys for the recommendation of the Peppermill. It is now my new favorite place. As the Las Vegas Review-Journal said, it’s like Denny’s on crack.
I ordered a New York Steak and a Margarita. The steak came with ‘soup’ that looked like a large bowl of spaghetti and was easily a meal in itself. The Margarita could have been served in a Frisbee. And it was happy hour, so $6.
This is the old Vegas.
You’re welcome. I thought you’d dig the place. There’s still a little of the old Vegas left.
Glad you liked it. Young first wife and I did a lot of cuddling on those cushions by the firepit. And saw a lot of others “cuddling” too. Good times. Good times.
Anyone ever ventured out to Desert National Wildlife Refuge north of Vegas? In particular trail around the Corn Creek Visitors Center? As we drive into the city next week, before we hit Omega Mart, we might stop in to stretch our legs.
